Children of all nationalities and religious affiliations are eligible to apply for admission to the school.  The following categories will be given priority in respective order:

-- children of expatriate evangelical missionaries

-- children of evangelical Christian workers
-- children of practising Christian families

 

Siblings of currently enrolled students will be given special consideration.

Application Procedure

HOPAC will be hosting Open House sessions for you to find out more about the school:

-- Open House for Grade 11 - Monday February 28th, 2011 @ 2:30PM.

 

To apply for admission, please complete the application form and return it to the School Office together with a copy of your child's passport or birth certificate.  We will receive applications at any time but the deadline for the next school year is Friday February 28, 2011.  Download Student Application Form

 

During March and April, students will be interviewed and assessed. If you are called for assessment, there is a non-refundable assessment fee of TSH 40,000 (K-G5) or TSH 60,000 (G6-G12). Notice of the admission decision is given during April.
Overseas applicants will be assessed and admitted on a case-by-case basis.

Age of Entry and Placement

Kindergarten Students must be age 5 by Aug 31st of that year.
Transfer students will usually be placed according to their age, but educational background and our own assessment tests may determine the class he/she enters. The usual time for admission is at the beginning of the school year (late August).  Exceptions are sometimes made for students to start in January.
