Vision 2010
By God's grace, in 2010 Haven of Peace Academy will continue to be a Christian school, but with increased quality of breadth of curricular and extra-curricular options. All students in grades Reception-12 will be enabled to live out a biblical worldview in all areas of life, focusing on leadership, service and stewardship. HOPAC will have developed and implemented a campus Master Plan, supporting 300 students; an effective staff-recruitment,-retention and support program; and a fund-raising campaign.

 

Vision 2010 Strategies:

Campus

  • Master Plan for developing and maintaining the school campus.
  • Fund-raising campaign to apply changes outlined in the Master Plan.

Curriculum/Program

  • Increase the quality and breadth of curricular and extra-curricular options.
  • Add grades 11&12

Staff

  • Teacher-recruitment and retention program.
  • Support for staff members.

Students

  • Students challenged to develop Christ-like characteristics through a personal and growing relationship with Jesus Christ.
  • Opportunities to serve Christ through leadership, serving each other and the local and global community, and caring for the environment.
  • Financial aid for students needing support.

Board

  • Establish a HOPAC Board of Governors Development Program.
