Haven of Peace Academy was founded in 1994 and continues striving towards its mission to provide an "excellent, Christ-centered, international education" equipping students "to live out a biblical worldview in all areas of life to the glory of God." 

 

The demand for excellent Christian education in Dar es Salaam has never been greater.  Haven of Peace Academy is growing to meet that demand, as outlined in our strategic plan, VISION 2010.  We have grown student enrollment by extending to Grades 11 and 12 and are continually growing our curricular and extra-curricular offerings, growing our teaching and administrative staff, growing our students in the areas of leadership, service and stewardship, and most importantly, growing our students to consider and to develop a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.
